Ben E. Davis In14Ways #Interview #MercyfulGrace

Interview by Aremuorin

1. How are you doing?

I’m really well despite the craziness in the world right now.

2. Tell us about your new project.

My new single is called “2020 (The Queen Doesn’t Give A Shhh)” it’s an anthemic pop tune all about the Covid climate were living in and this most unpredictable year we’ve had.

3. What inspired you.

COVID-19, the lockdowns and the killing of George Floyd (among so many others) triggered the rage that inspired me to pick up the pen and write.

Musically, MJ is a huge inspiration. I think a lot came from his song “They Don’t Care About Us”.

4. How long did it take you to execute

Too long! Haha As an independent artist, projects can take longer than expected, self-funding, self-publishing etc. I started writing the song in the summer and hoped to have it come out before the US presidential election. We got delayed so I continued to write the second verse after the election and the b-section as the holidays were approaching.

5. Previous projects?

Earlier this year I released my single D.I.M.E. (Dead In My Eyes) which chronicles my experience with domestic violence abuse.  It took me a long time to write and finally release the song, but I felt I needed to share my story to help inspire others who may be experiencing domestic violence, especially during the current COVID-19 lockdowns as cases rose by about 20%

6. What’s the reaction so far?

“2020” has just come out… so far the majority of streams are coming from America, I’m not sure how the reaction from the UK will be.

7. Why now?

Such an interesting question. I think the time IS now. Everything that’s happened this year has challenged us to think and act differently. This song is like a time capsule of my emotions for this year… in 10 years it will be interesting to listen back and be like, “do ya’ll remember 2020?”

8. Can you think of your next projects direction?

I want to continue being more open and honest in my writing. During the process of releasing D.I.M.E. and “2020” I realised that it’s ok to express anger and frustration. Previously I’ve written fun pop songs about love or what I thought was love. Anger is also an emotion and music has been my vehicle  to express that.

9. Influences musically?

Tina Turner, MJ, The Beatles, Whitney Houston and Prince are biggest influences. There are so many more, but these were the heavyweight champions of music for me.

10. What’s your take on racism

That is exist. I think we have to acknowledge that first as it doesn’t exist for everyone and therefore how can someone be empathetic to something they’ve never experienced. I don’t think it’s as overt as the media portrays it. As a mixed race person, (my mom is Black American and my father is of German/Irish decent) I have experienced prejudice and racism first hand, but it’s more subtle, it happens sometimes out of pure ignorance but it happens.

Ben E. Davis

11. Have you listened to Mariahs new Audio book – The Meaning of Mariah

I have not. I’m gonna have to check that out.

12. Any advice for humanity.

I’m anxious for us to begin being human again. We’re not designed to stare at computer screens for 8 hours a day. We are meant to talk face to face, sing, dance, hug, laugh or even fight for that matter. My advice would be for humanity to smile more.  Sometimes a smile can just brighten up someone’s day… now we’re all hiding our smiles behind masks.

13. What’s music is playing in your music right now?

Well it’s that time of year, so I deffo have some Mariah and Nat King Cole  Christmas classics playing, but I’m really feeling Irish artist Moncrieff. His song AMERICA is on repeat at the moment.

14. Say a prayer for love for us all and the planet.

Most definitely. Thank you for having me. God Bless you and your family/friends.

Listen to my new single.

Had the opportunity to interview Oris Erhuero, recently. A new Bond era. Fit for Her Majesty’s Service ..’ It was really inspirational and indepth. Here is the interview:

1. How do you adapt to winter?

So far so good, as the winter has it’s thing with me, where it keeps me on my toes at all times.

2. Whats keeps you busy?

Right now my family keeps me very busy. As well as my good friends, that I haven’t been able to make time for, during the year, due to work commitments.

3. Why is fitness important to you.

Fitness is extremely important to me. It’s a lifestyle for me, no doubt. It’s parts and parcel of who I am. It’s one of the many things in life I will always live and swear by.

Oris Erhuero - MercyfulGrace 4.jpg

It’s something that’s been installed in me since I was a kid. It’s what led me to break dancing, martial arts, weights, running, meditation, yoga, and the urge for me to push and compete with myself. It has been very rewarding to my career in ways that I never saw coming I would like to say it’s an institution within my life.

And a medical proven fact, that one will for ever stay young, healthy and alert with time and age, no matter what, and where one is in life, as long you are willing to slice and save time out of your 24 given hour a day to commit.

4. Your latest movie “EUROPA” playing at Film festivals around the world at the moment … Tell us about it.

Well. it’s a true story, told from – as a movie – shot within a movie. The inside movie tells a fictional murder story, a drama and love triangle. And the «outside» movie tells above all a razor sharp analysis of contemporary life in Europe by the award winning Rwandan director Kivu Ruhorahoza (Grey Matter, Things of the Aimless Wanderer). He decides to film his new movie, A Tree Has Fallen, in London.

Oris Erhuero – Photo Credit – Torunn Lillo

It is, to be a stylish drama. about “Simon”, the character which I play, a mysterious “Nigerian man”, who returns to London to make amends with Anna, his mixed-race lover (Lisa Moorish) and Bruce, Anna’s white ex-husband (Matt Ray Brown).

Progressively, this love triangle mirrors the increasing social and racial tensions in Great Britain, and Europe today right now. This is in parallel to his narrative fiction, “Kivu documents”. This tensions by filming a series of rallies in the streets of London.

Oris Erhuero - MercyfulGrace blog.jpg

But inevitably, the ‘hostile environment’ immigration policy of the ruling Conservative Party comes back to haunt the reunited lovers and to disrupt Kivu’s film making effort. Sensing that his London stay is coming to a forced end, Kivu attends a far right protest to try and understand the rising xenophobia of the Brits and of his character Bruce.

5. Barriers you have had to break down.

One of the many things in life I have learned is that from the day we were born, no matter what race, gender or tribe we are, there would always be a barrier without fail in front of us.

Oris Erhuero - MercyfulGrace 7.jpg

Oris Erhuero, Photo Credit – Robert Lapworth

I believe it’s part of all of our destiny and mission in life to fight for what we believe in, and that will come with a lot of barriers. I have had to keep in mind, that the many that came before I was born, fought to overcome what I wouldn’t probably think is a problem, today. For example; ‘Racism’ – today isn’t what the likes of my father and mom had to bear in the 60’s, in the west. Today, it’s a different kind. It’s all psychological. For example in my case, transcending from the fashion and modelling world.

Oris Erhuero 9 - MercyfulGrace Blog

Oris Erhuero, Photo Credit – Torunn Lillo

“For me, being a person of colour, I had to fight my way through all the racial political crap that came with it to get work. However, you keep pushing through, with a positive mind set, or it can eat you up and discourage you from growing. I walked from the world of fashion onto my first tv series in the 90s, and forcefully been the character that was intended to be a guest star in the first episode, to being one of the leading characters”.

At that time, when and if you came from modelling, or the fashion world, you were never taken seriously, for TV. So, having to push through that in the 90s, was a big deal, and then having the opportunity to transcend from TV to Film was a barrier, As Back then, doing TV was the death of an actor, as once you started there you died there, you couldn’t cross that line to film ever, and then finding myself blazing through that barrier on to films and stage and people accepting the change ,was a big deal.

Oris Erhuero - MercyfulGrace 6.jpg

Oris Erhuero – MercyfulGrace Blog

It’s funny with the help of social media, how many people are taken back by my journey from the beginning, to where I am now; because to them, many people back then, where kind of stuck in a time zone and didn’t, and couldn’t, cross that barrier.

I have become part of that generation that can juggle anything thrown our way. So, for me, it’s almost a trill to say to myself; let’s do this, and surprise myself in the process. Today many of us can do music, produce films, write and direct them, as well as collaborate with fashion houses, simply because many of us understood that breaking down Barriers, and constantly transcending would always pay of in big a big way.

6. So you are an SGI Nicheriann Buddhist? Tell us about it?

Nicherian Buddhism’s for me is the simple in-depth discovery of common sense in it’s entity, taught to me through the sgi Soka Gakkai international, meaning value creating society.

It’s a diverse Buddhist community network which comprises of more than 12 million people in 192 countries and territories around the world. We, as Sgi members, base our practice on the Lotus Sutra and Nichiren Buddhism, which teaches that each person has within the courage, wisdom and compassion to face and surmount any of life’s challenges.

Oris - MercyfulGrace Blog.jpg

Oris Erhuero – Photo Credit – Torunn Lillo

Based on core Buddhist principles such as respecting the dignity of human life and the inter connected-ness of self and the environment, we engage in various peace activities including human rights education, the movement to abolish nuclear weapons and efforts to promote sustainable development.

7. Does God and The notion appeal to you? What does it mean to you?

Yes, the term appeals to me in many ways, but that also depending, on how each individual of any form of belief system. sees it, and understands it. But in my case, as a Nicherien buddhist, we have the term called the mystic law, which is “Nam Myoho Renge Kyo” in English, it means “Devotion to the mystic law of the universe” or “Glory to the sutra of the lotus of the supreme”.

Oris Erhuero - MercyfulGrace.jpg

Oris Erhuero, MercyfulGrace Blog

This is the central mantra chanted within all forms of Nichiren Buddhism. However, at the end of the day, as a Buddhist, we believe that nothing is fixed or permanent and that change is always possible through chanting and prayers. That’s my notion of God and how it appeals to me. Nevertheless, it all begins and end with prayers to deeply understand that notion.

8. Have you compromised something you love for the greater good of mankind or would you.

Yes, many many years ago in the 80s before Nelsons Mandela release from jail, I was scouted as a model to go and work in South Africa along with other models. The offer was incredibly lucrative, but even as I was young, it didn’t sit well with me. I had this feeling if I cross that line; it would be the point of no return, as many artist and musicians were warned not to go, as it will be a disrespect to Mandela as well as those fighting to abolish Apartheid.

Oris Erhuero - MercyfulGrace Blog

Oris Erhuero, Photo Credit – Torunn Lillo

As fast forward years later in May 1994 the week of his inauguration, an agent invited me again to go to South Africa, and that’s where my carrier in the end really jumped of from fashion and modelling to TV and film career.

And going on almost 27 years, I really believe in my heart that when I look back, that act, and sacrifice I made with out selling myself short or selling out by crossing that line back then , really payed of for me today , and it was worth it. That act has lead me in making many decisions today no matter how juicy it seems to say no and walk away without any regret.

9. Life as a black person, does it seem like a fairy tale to you or is it a survival game.

To be honest at times it does feel like the survival game.

I have had to work super hard, and pray incredibly hard, that people will look past this colour of my skin and just see the greatness in me, there also see in themselves And that really broke through for me when I arrived in ‘South Africa the week of May 1994’.

Oris Erhuero - MercyfulGrace 2.jpg

Oris Erhuero – Photo Credit – Torunn Lillo

In addition, I was very fortunate to meet Mandela and certain people I would have never been able to sit in a room with in the west.

I had arrived as a young man to chase my dreams at a period of change in a country where blacks and whites fighting alongside against racism where dealt a hard blow by the Killing of Steven Biko, and many more countless people and kids got shot and killed for speaking up.
Watching one man, who had been locked up for 27 years come out and bring the people, regardless of their colour, together to live as one in harmony. That special moment and time changed me forever.

Oris Erhuero 12 - MercyfulGrace Blog

Oris Erhuero – MercyfulGrace Blog

So today, wherever I go, I take that spirit and energy of Mandela and those who fought alongside him, with me. I remember this when I work in a place where I don’t see people like me. I just make it known that I’m a human just like you, so whatever misconception you may have of me or people like me, we need to get past it and get on with the task at hand.

But from to time to time, I find myself slipping in to that survival mode and having to catch myself, and to be honest I have seen the positive impact more so lately. I now deeply feel slowly, slowly, the survival game is slipping away for good.

Oris Erhuero 11 - MercyfulGrace Blog

Oris Erhuero – MercyfulGrace Blog

I truly believe in my hearts of hearts the reality is settling in and people are tired and want to get along and just live in harmony, and yes sometimes it’s all about the mind-set and where we are in the moment.
I sincerely believe we all have the power to make a change where we go from here.

10. Actors you will like to co star with?

Anyone that can act, and do it like the greats.

11. Your hide away?

The Nordics

12. Your 4 non negotiables.

A). Racism

B). Leaders who come in to Power and break their promise.

C). People who abuse their power and position in life.

D). The 4th would be any one who discriminates against any gender of any kind, as people should be free to be who they believe they are. Period.

13. Best advice given.

My best advice ever given to me was by the iconic Sisley Tyson. We met in South Africa while I was taking a break from filming.

And during one of our moments together, she invited me to the opening of the Robben Island prison in Cape Town where Nelson Mandela spent part of his 27 years incarcerated. This Prison was now been reopened and turned in to a museum, as a great reminder of Nelsoms Mandela’s past.

As we sat on the ferry ride talking, she just stopped in the middle of our casual conversation, and said to me that I should never underestimate myself and the power in me.

To always stand my ground no matter what, know my worth and to never sell myself short. She lived by those words by introducing me to one of the most powerful mangers in Hollywood, doubling my salary for the next season – that changed the game for me. So now, when in doubt, I go back to that moment.

14. SAY some wishful & grateful things for humanity to come to pass.

Close: Thanks for the interview. It is a real treat. Will just like to add an after thought here. “You are a dream come true and incredibly inspiring. I will pay a million bucks to have the opportunity to do this interview all over again, and again. One day the world will thank you”.

Life will fade, but time will prevail. So, get on your ship, and take to sail. My prayer for anyone going through arduous challenges is that you find your beacon of light. Don’t let go of that hope in your heart. Darkness despises #light ..’ – #In14Ways

Teuta Avdyli: Born to stand out not to fit #in ..’ – In14Ways #TuetaAvdyli #MercyfulGrace #PGEUK2019

Interview by Anthony Everest

1.Welcome back: Nice to hear from you again. What’s your name and where are you from?

My name is Teuta Avdyli. I am the author of the book “BORN TO STAND OUT NOT TO FIT IN”, an international public speaker, empowerment, positive parenting and spirituality coach. I am married and a passionate mother of two beautiful children.

2. What’s the story behind your book

To empower women on how to overcome and become unbreakable in the times of hardships, tribulation, adversities. No matter what life throws at you have to become a quick learner, smash your own spiders (problems} and carry on with your day. There will be times you will fail, there will be times that you will succeed but they are both very important at stepping stones to get to the other side.

Panache Award Recpient – Teuta Avdyli –

That’s why I would like to say that NEVER GIVE UP!! Owing to that, learn to enjoy every moment of every day despite what life presents. The more we practice, the better we will be at enjoying the moment. Focusing on solutions keeps our thoughts in the moment, and what we can accomplish in the NOW!

I overcome various obstacles in my life.

I am a survivor of a major lorry accident that rode over my poor legs 3 times.

Panache Award Recipient – Teuta Avdyli

I am blessed because I was given a second change to live and I want to do things differently this time. I am on the mission to establish my vision.

No waisting time, But the thing is you don’t know if you have a second change?

You don’t need to go through what I went through, to appreciate life and do the right things. I have been in the wilderness and came out of it and I learned wealth a lot.

Panache Award Recipient – Teuta Avdyli – MercyfulGrce Blog

Many times, I shared my story with others and inspired them in many ways. I knew that my story talks and needs to be heard but I didn’t have a platform where to share to.

I wanted to go beyond that, and I came to a point that I said to myself, ok now, now it’s the time to share my knowledge with others.

It’s not about me anymore it’s about helping others not only one to one but one to many or millions. I know someone needs to hear my story, someone needs my help, not only information but direction!

3. Have you changed from the experience?

Definitely. These experiences have shaped, molded me who I have become today. Beneath every strong, independent woman lies, a broken little girl who had to learn how to get back up.

Overtime she has fallen and risen up even stronger because she is a survivor and not a victim. I am in control of my life and there is nothing I can’t achieve.

The knowledge is nothing compared to the vastness of what I’ve learnt through these experiences and I learned to never depend on anyone. Those experiences have shaped me to who I am today.

Each of the experience has been unique. I can say that I know what it is to fight. No matter how hard the situation, I knew that God was with me, He never left me, never forsaken me.

You’re here because you made it. We are survivors in one or other ways. We go through hardships, tribulation, adversity but no matter what, keep pushing through. It will pass because they are temporary and what remains is your greatness!

In this manner, we polish ourselves. We go through trials, and the ideas that don’t work are eliminated and better ones are created or found. With each learning experience, we become better, and we approach perfection. So, embrace life, including the lows, because they help us to better appreciate the highs. We are like teabags. We don’t know our true strength until we are in hot water and receive the flower and our see true colors.

I strongly believe that God opened a different door for me, unlocked my full potential that I ALWAYS believed since I was a young girl, I visualized myself talking in front of many people. Now I know why I am here. What’s my Identity? What’s my life purpose? Knowing that its priceless and worthy any pain. In pain I found my life purpose, in my struggles, I learnt how to overcome, in my bitterness I found my betterment.

Now I want to help others to find their life purpose. Helping people to find their purpose in life, is that you’re not changing one aspect of their life. You’re changing all aspects of their life. Image. Someone that didn’t have purpose.

How much happier they will be, how much productive, how much happier their family will be?

Its truly a priceless situation. My scar is big and not pleasant to look at it but… I love it every time I see it because my scar tells a story, my testimony it reminds me my defining moments, my turning point in my life.

Definitely when you overcome hard times you’re not on the same level anymore for sure! You change, mature, grow become wiser and more knowledgeable and unsinkable soul! Your heart becomes soft and you have compassion for the broken ones.

4. What is the hope you will like to give folks through your book.

What makes life message is:

If something goes wrong, here is my advice ….And that is for every one of you who is going through tough times, whatever that may be, and it doesn’t have to be physical, if you are overwhelmed with life, exhausted, depressed, lost or maybe people are against you, you feel that there seems to be no way out, it could be a family problem, going through divorce, family loss, or maybe you think that your problem is too big, I can’t take it anymore and you want to end your life, whatever it is:

I been there physically, emotional pain. I felt the pain. But don’t ever give up. ITS TEMPORARY IT WILL PASS!

If you can’t run, walk

If you can’t walk, crawl.

If you can’t crawl push through, there is way out, no matter the problem, If I did it you can too, if it’s done before it can be done again.

This is the reason why I have put together in a form of a book to help people to learn and live a happy and fulfilled life. The book is full Inspiring, empowering stories Of A Great Survivor, no matter what, if you have faith, you can overcome pretty much anything in life.

Many times, in life, when people tell you that you can’t do something you have to become an even bigger fighter, run away from these negative people, because the sky is your limit.

It’s not where you start from, it’s where you finish. No matter the weather brings your own sunshine. “If you don’t risk anything, you risk everything”.

Strength comes in the ability to get back up after we’ve been knocked down. Harder to do, than say, sometimes!

You can rewrite to own your story. You can bring back your power.

Focus on solutions rather than situations. When we focus on our problems, we give them strength and feed their growth. When we focus on problems, our problems take us where they want us to go. Generally, this is a place of despair, depression, uncertainty, and dead ends. When we follow our problems, we tend to see our glass as half empty, instead a glass that is half full.

A gem cannot be polished without friction, nor can a man be perfected without trials. Feel the pain and once you’re done and healed, go forward and make this as your inspiration and motivation. The power to change and take responsibility to do something different.

Making sure that everything you do—What you say, how you show up, how you act, is a reflection of who you are, congruent with your character and spirit across every situation.

Great things can happen when you set yourself up to be noticed in the right way. Practice these tips and you’ll not only stand out in the crowd but probably travel far beyond it.

It’s not where you start from, it’s where you finish. No matter the weather brings your own sunshine. “If you don’t risk anything, you risk everything”

Not every storm are bad, they may be painful but you become unbreakable and knowledgeable how to sort out a situation in the future. When you take risks, you will learn that there will be times when you fail, there will be times when you succeed, but they are both equally important. Failure is part of the process to succeed, and it’s the necessary stepping stone to achieving your dreams.

They are not about to reveal our weakness but found many strong qualities about yourself.

Strength comes in the ability to get back up after we’ve been knocked down, harder to do than say sometimes!

You can rewrite to own story. You can bring back your power.

In my own case I could complain and be mourning, as I used to be a very active and independent women. After the accident it was a complete shock, a life changing experience but instead I was very grateful.

No resentment against God or anyone. Why me. What is this and that, but instead I said, “God Thank you that I am above the ground and not underneath”.

Live life to the fullest, live the moment, enjoy the power of the present because everything else is uncertain!

We are about human love. Love others, keep smiling, live your life intentionally!

Just this way we can progress, helping and holding each other’s hands and be the best version of yourselves.

Being yourself, celebrating the unique and realness of you, and sharing that uniqueness for the betterment and encouragement of everyone around you. You just stay you as you are, you are amazing, worthy, special, you’re a master peace.

You are born to live a life as the unique individual that you are, as the flamingo in the flog of pigeons, because there is only one of you on this entire planet of 7+ billion and that’s already incredible!

5. The worst thing that happened to you through this ordeal.

There are many but I can recall some pivotal moments that are embedded in my mind. When I experienced the trauma of the track going over my legs and I looked the state of my leg, blood gushing all over the place. I knew that something was extremely wrong. Pure terror!

In that moment I didn’t know for sure, if I would live or die. A complete acceptance of death. When was flung into the deep water, when I came in UK. Fear nearly consumed me. The first thought that came to mind was this, my end had come.

6. What did this pain feel like.

When I went through the excruciation unbearable pain of the truck accident.

I was screaming exceedingly with a bitter cry for help. The sense of loneliness, feeling powerless, undignified, perplexed; that was the scariest feeling, and place to be. It makes my spine shiver when I think of that moment.

Also, when I was in hospital and the doctor didn’t give me hope of if I would ever walk again – was scary.

My children, my family went through difficult times too. I was worried for them.

7. Where did your survival instinct erupt from.

I CREDIT my Ability to move forward in life…and overcome all my adversities to my dedication to spirituality and me believing in the “Word of God”. Without being spiritually strong, I don’t think I would have come so far. I don’t think I could have made it, for sure.

Having a strong spiritual outlook helps you find meaning in life’s difficult circumstances.

For example, in my own experience before whatever I was doing, I was doing on my own strength, and my ability but I wasn’t happy or fulfilled. I was worried for everything. The burden was heavy.

Today is different. I have peace, joy, patience, love, compassion. I don’t worry. It’s not that you will not have problems, but you are able to overcome, and the burden is lighter. What a big difference!

I can tell you that when I was knocked down on the ground, you don’t think of anything else.

No family, no money, nothing just eternity becomes so important and I know God saved me for a reason.

How can you not believe a moment like that? You can’t argue for a miracle. For example, I remember when I felt that I was leaving.

A complete acceptance of death. Tears were rolling down my cheeks, and in that moment

Suddenly, this inner powerful voice inside me intercepted my thought process.

“No this is not your end yet”, and suddenly I seemed to have got back my will to survive.

From then, a voice even more powerful said to me ‘You will live to do even more greater things in the world’. Everything happening was like a film and now that prophesy given to me whilst in that defining moment, coming true, as I am living to tell my story and inspire the world by compiling my ordeal, I know this is just the beginning of greater things to come.

If I could capture that feeling and sell it, I’d be a multi billionaire.

But … I can’t. I don’t have the capacity to describe it, none of us has. I never knew up to that moment how priceless the air you breathe was and how precious life was!

We are foolish. We take life for granted. That moment will stay with me forever for as long as I breath.

8. Do you think you’ve done enough to inspire.

No, ultimately, my deepest and greatest desire is to impact and inspire people around the world that is the greatest contribution to the society, family, and the work of God.

I want to be a role model for my children and live a legacy beyond. To be led by example showing others if you can do it, others can if it’s done before it can be done again.

Knowing that you’re being of use, for a good cause, that matters to me.

That’s when my personality serves my soul, that’s my authentic power, that priceless! I feel happy that God has opened a new door for me, unlocked my full potential that I always believed since I was a young girl.

I am living to tell my story and inspire the world by compiling my ordeal in the form of a book and becoming an author, in empowering, positive parenting and spirituality. I really believe God fueled me with a great meaning and purpose.

To be a life-changing advocacy to help others rise above their painful experiences, creating a positive change and inspiring others.

9. What is love to you.

Great question “What is love to you?” We are not referring to the feel feeling in love with someone.

This question made me think about my passion and purpose. I want to share it with you today because I believe this is a question that applies to all of us. And, I also believe that the answer lies deep within each one of us.

I think before you can even answer that question, you must first acknowledge that what is love. I got 3 verses from the bible, that explains very well the meaning of love.

Love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs.’ 1 Corinthians 13.5.

‘If you love only the people who love you, why should you receive a blessing? Even sinners love those who love them!’ Luke 6.32.

Meanwhile these three remain: faith, hope, and love; and the greatest of these is love.’ 1 Corinthians 13.13

Keep Loving, keep smiling, live intentionally. You can serve with compassion. You’re in a mission and our mission is to be the best version ourselves. Remove all the sense of entitlement and stay low where the waters came from

I believe that each of us has a personal calling that’s as unique as a fingerprint – and that the best way to succeed is to discover what you love and then find a way to offer it to others in the form of service, working hard and believe you can.

10. What are your future goals and plans.

Yes, as well as creating a mastery program in empowering women to become unstoppable in the face of the adversary, I also I am creating a blueprint for positive parenting tribes, because I want to enhance the love, that bound between parents and children. They are the generation. We must fight for them. I think there is a lot to contribute in parenting topics.

I will continue to write books

I will help others.

I will teach what I know and make a dent on the universe.

11. How can we be peaceful.

The most and very powerful kind of peace is being in peace with yourself both an outward and an inward state of being and acting. If you are trying to be more peaceful, you must begin by finding peace within yourself. Further your peaceful nature by bringing it into your interactions with others and making your environment peaceful. Find your inner -peace and accomplishing your confidence.

Allow and accept change. Change is often difficult to accept and can be very stressful. The difficulty here is that change is constantly occurring, and that by being resistant to it, you will just be causing yourself unnecessary stress. Accept change by realizing you and your life are always growing and changing. Accept change as a learning process to a better life.

Let go of fear. A great deal of the time we are resistant to change due to a fear of the unknown. Letting go of that fear allows you to accept change.

12. Why do people hurt.

In my opinion, most people hurt others because deep inside they are not happy with themselves or there’s something that’s bugging them.

People, by their nature, do things that are painful to others. You have to LEARN the tools to overcome the inner desire to be cruel and mean to others.

Therefore, people who do not have any self-control will get involved with the activities of justifying their US while degrading the THEM.

As time goes on, we can only hope that they learn that way of thinking is hurtful, and they begin to learn some empathy for the THEM in the world.

It freed me from such world of bondage to the garbage that comes from ignorance about people as a whole.

Unfortunately, there are many things that people are hurt in this world with so many problems, violence, teenage crime, early pregnancy, depression, worries, poverty, insecurities, global worming ect the list is almost endless. How divided we are.

· How mean we are to one another.

· How critical we are of one another.

· How judgmental we are of each other and how angry we are at each other.

· How lonely we all seem to be.

· This space is a big open field filled with dreamers and explorers. It’s filled with teachers and doctors, with mothers and fathers, and with the young and the old.

· We are more alike than we are different.

Yet, we are all longing for the same things. We are all longing to be accepted, to be seen and understood, and to be invited into the space that unites us.

Fortunately, for me Christianity showed me the way out of that way of thinking.

The gift. I finally began to learn why everyone is so different. And why some people are cruel, nice, or indifferent. That provided me an opportunity to see the world from an objective perspective so that I can learn what are the truths about people.

13. Is there hope for love.

Many of us have had times in our lives where we feel alone, ugly and unlovable. But there is a person who is totally in love with you, right now. God created the earth, the heavens and everything we see, including you, no matter what you do, God will never stop loving you.

But there is a problem. Sadly, we live a life separated from the great love of God because of something called sin.

When you do something to hurt a friend, it damages your relationship. Sin is like this. We all sin when we ignore God, disobey him, mock him and hurt him. Sin can damage our relationships with friends and family, as well as stopping us from living a life in God’s presence.

So, what’s the solution? Thankfully there is a way that we can break the barrier that sin creates between us and God’s love.

The solution is the greatest act of love anyone will ever do for you. To die for you. We need to understand that sin leads to death. But God loves us so much that he sent Jesus to die for all our sins, so we can have eternal life.

But now we have a choice…A decision. The perfect chance to restart your life, with all your mistakes wiped away.

All you must do is accept that you have sinned, ask God to forgive you and decide to live your life in real relationship with God. So now is that time to decide. What is your choice?

14. Is life where you want to be?

Evaluating our own personal level of success can be an intimidating task. We all have different versions of what success looks like and it doesn’t necessarily look the same as the person next to us.

Sometimes, we measure success in comparison to the success of our friends and family.

And other times, we are even quick to judge those around us based on where they are in their own life. Instead of comparing based on others’ version of success, what we should really be doing is looking our inward self.

I have pictured and asked myself what I want for my life to look like and have take the time to think about what I should be doing to get to where I want to be.

The reason why it’s important to ask yourself these questions is because these are some of the things that affect our overall level of happiness in life.

These are some of the things that guide the decisions that we make on our daily basis. These are things that we value and the things that are our driving forces.

But just like coming to terms with struggles, hardships, or mistake, or an addiction, or fear, the first thing that we must do is admit that it’s there and ask for help.

Then, we can tackle it head-on. We can’t solve a problem if we don’t know what the problem is. So, take time to think about it. Once you’ve done that, you can start to navigate your way towards finding a solution. Have you identified the things that are holding you back from becoming who you want to be?

I live you today with these quotes: “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you’ve imagined” — Henry David Thoreau. “Refuse to die unlived life” “Too many of us are not living our dreams because we are living our fears”- Les Brown

14a. Say a prayer for humanity and us.

My prayer for people today is be humble before God, turn to and acknowledge His ways, have a relationship with the Creator.

Without him you are like fish without waters, you are limited, no matter what. He is a good Father.:

Forgive and let go any grudges, resements because it’s like as Nelson Mandela said: “Unforgiveness is like drinking poison for your own body and waiting for the other person to die”. Its not worthy, is it?

The Christmas Stench: M.S. French – #In14Ways #MercyfulGrace #Interview – Michael Stanley French

A friend of mine introduced me to this young; bright new writer, to interview. It was a breath of fresh air. Read the interview below.

1. What’s your name

My name is Michael Stanley French, but my pen name is M.S. French.
2. What do you do

I’ve been coming up with stories for years, but only recently managed to turn one into a physical book. I can now say that I write children’s literature.

3. What’s your book about
‘The Christmas Stench!’ is about a little boy called Leo. After a day outside with his friends, he runs home so that he won’t be late for dinner. However, when he gets home, he begins to smell something quite unpleasant. So decides that it’s his duty to investigate his family in order to find the source of the stench.
4. Is it your first book

Yes. With ‘The Christmas Stench!’ being my first book, I’m very proud of the way it turned out and I think I’ve even surprised some people.
5. What inspired your book

Although I drew a thumbnail for the cover over a year ago, I can’t exactly explain where the idea came from. But the essence of the book is about self reflection and being cautious before jumping to conclusions.

6. Who are your mentors

With the difficulty of being supported by established publishers in London, I didn’t really feel like I had any direct mentors as such. But I did draw a lot of inspiration from the writing style of Dr. Seuss. Taking time to study his writing, helped me a lot.

7. Where would you like to be in future

I don’t really like to pay so much attention to the future, but I do have ambitions. For example, being able to comfortably live off my career as an Author/ illustrator, would be a dream come true.

8. What are your views on white privilege?

I believe it exists, but I don’t believe I’m a part of the problem and I wouldn’t like the idea of anyone being “a part of the problem”, just because they are white.

In general, I’ve had an incredibly good upbringing, but my family was often only scraping by. When it concerns money, I don’t believe it should determine the joy experienced in life. But of course, there should be set standards of living for all people.
I think much of the world is becoming pulled under because so many believe that fame and fortune is a pinnacle that will solve their problems.

Taking care to look after ones heart and morals, is far more important in my opinion.

But ultimately, the world might well be improved, if more money is distributed fairly. But on the other hand, hard work is a part of the equation.

It’s so easy to get all kinds of demands and believe we’re entitled to a life of luxury. The truth is, that many of us, already do live a life of luxury. The ones that lack basic necessities, such as food, clean water and healthcare, etc.

These are the people who lack. For those in the middle, maybe if we looked more at the ones who are truly poor (economically), we’d feel slightly more blessed in our circumstances.

The rich and famous come and go, but that’s a life that few will know.

9. Your celebrity secret crush?

My celebrity crush(es) can be found in the original seasons of Gilmore Girls. I’ll let you guess who it is.

10. How would you describe your life

If I was to describe my life, it might be; 2 choices, 1 decision. For me, if there are more than 2 choices, I’m lucky and shouldn’t be too worried about which one I pick.
11. Is there room for world peace and how

Sadly, I don’t believe there isn’t room for world peace. At least not now. But I believe it’s possible. Although, it would take the majority of the world to achieve it. The ‘How’ part is tricky.
12. Who or what annoys you most

I don’t so easily get annoyed… but I’m pretty sick of instagram “comedy” and the like. Why or how is rape, harassment and trashy flaunting of wealth, seen as funny and pretty much celebrated?

13. Best advice you were given
“If you have one foot in the past and one foot in the future, you’re pissing on the present.” -As heard from Katya Zamolodchikova in UNHhhh

14. Say 3 good things about love and what it means to you
Love is more an action, than a feeling. Because sometimes, an action that is done out of love for someone you care about, isn’t always something that you feel like doing.

Love is easier to receive than to give. But if you want to receive true love, you’ll have to give it first.
Do what you love, but not whatever you want. Careless acts can come out as blind hate.

The End

M.S. French you are a star. Don’t stop. Keep shinning ..’

Why #Jesus is a #gangster – #in14ways #MercyfulGrace #Love

Until all whites (& blacks) in places of privilege, or power, to effect change; call out all the racist white supremacists, on their evil antics, towards blacks and minorities when notified, repeatedly, I won’t respect you (See Marcus Fox).

Labake with Aremuorin –

If you love antiquated cultural narratives of denial and ‘White Jesus’ prejudices, remove yourself from my posts. Am too woke for that dim witted lie ..’ – Aremuorin

Here is a deeper analysis on Jesus (Yeshua):

He appeared to Mary Magalene first after resurrection according to the bible, before ascending to his Father in Heaven.

Isn’t that the ultimate love and showance of loyalty to another human? A whore.

Anthony Everest –

Now, call me crazy. The bible is bias, misogynistic culturally; and not the whole truth, narratively, on redemption.

If you die for humanity and rise again, & your first appearance is to the whore. I think it’s pretty clear who your besty is when you are Jesus Christ.

Jesus needed 12 disciples. 3 were his friends, 1, a right hand man & his best friend was none of them. His best friend was a whore.

Aremuorin –

This is why they removed the book of Mary Magdalene from the bible.

No wonder why God told me he would use me to write about him …’ – Aremuorin

I heard and recieved him clearly.

Being nice is not enough in show business; or in life generally. You need gut instincts that are apt and fine #tunned ..’ – #In14ways

Dear God, remove my enemies, from my path, less you make mockery of them with your wrath, through my gifts, mercilessly ..’

The Only Chief In Town with Aremuorin –

For, I shall burn them up in the spirit; to the ground, by your will, if it be !!!!!!! David needed just five stones to take out goliath.

My trophies are not made of earth. They are made of love. Safe away from thieves, swindlers & moths.

God is love but love is not a door mat ..’

Lucifer the Father of all lies ..’ – #In14Ways #MercyfulGrace

Give me #Jesus this Weekend – #In14Ways

When it comes to the art of Religion; White Jesus and its role in slavery to emancipate the western brand over the rest of the world, I re think ..’

I don’t agree that the #Bible is literal cuz if that were to be true we should be stoning women who were found not to be #virgin’s on their wedding night; but I do agree the #devil is a liar and he has a strong foot stool in the #church cuz he knows the #scriptures more than them ..’

Here is why ..’

Mathew 13:20-21
20 If, however, the charge is true and no proof of the young woman’s virginity can be found,21 she shall be brought to the door of her father’s house and there the men of her town shall stone her to death. She has done an outrageous thing in Israel by being promiscuous while still in her father’s house. You must purge the evil from among you

Love is not a door mat. If it should be patient and kind (1 Corinthians 13:4), why should it stone women to death if they are not virgins on their wedding night?
