Lurine Cato one of the UK’s leading gospel singers has been listed in this years Queen’s Birthday Honours List to receive an MBE for services to charity and music

On being awarded the MBE Lurine says “It’s not about how many views, streams or followers you have but it’s about expressing God’s love and unity. It’s truly an honour to be a recipient of an award of this magnitude”

Lurine shares this year of MBE awardees with the likes of premiership footballer Marcus Rashford, Joe Wicks and Mr Motivator, Derrick Evan’s as well as friends and professional colleagues, Tessa Ojo (CBE) CEO, Diana Award, PR and Journalist, Marcia Dixon, IDMC choir leader John Fisher, Publisher and Editor of Keep the Faith Magazine, Shirley McGreal, Karen Gibson, leader of Kingdom Choir and gospel artist and entrepreneur Muyiwa who receives and OBE
