Totally forgot to do this entry.
Forgive me. So, the first night went a little like this. Tamed. Those who needed to be there, were there. Loved ones, friends, fan’s and new folks. More like a family affair, where everyone, was welcomed with open – arms.
We had a good night, singing, eating, drinking and some merry. Wasn’t a full house, but – the spirit of love and togetherness filled the air. There’s no bull here. It is exactly what it is.
Live music has always been an essential part of this evenings event, and if you doubt, come down yourself, to explore. It’s the place to be, midweek, just before your weekend kicks off, with a bang, or however you want to spend it. This night should, and would eventually, give you the boost you need – to keep you motivated, to see another week, through.
We performed songs from “Run To Love – EP” – the charity give back record, plus all the other stuff from ‘Follow Your Dreams’ :: A good measure of covers were thrown in too – at the last minute, as requested.
Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston made the cut ..’ Some how Billie Holliday was left on the cutting floor, but she’s back next week – for sure. For she is the first lady of Jazz and we love – too much of Jazz and good old Soul at MercyfulGrace Live. So, we do pay tribute to her, among the other greats, in between the old and new original songs!
‘I think there’s some football on wed – 26th, Nov, 2014 – but the show kicks off as usual, after – around half nine or so. Bear with us. Was just informed on that one. Gratias! (We gotta support our community in keeping in theme with giving back theme)
At MercyfulGrace Live – we make the most of what we have. Love, life, togetherness, generosity, people, friends, reflection, merry, endearment, and more of all that good stuff, where it came from.
Perhaps, this is not your thing. It’s all good, too. You can always opt to be objective while you are there. Personally, all that glitters is still, not – apparently gold, while many people are smiling, but deep down inside broken. Here’s the thing! That’s okay too. As for challenges – alike. That’s life.
There is nothing beautiful that does not advert through such – adversity. The greatest of them all would tell you the same. It’s why we keep it positive and real – Always! Many are called, but only a few are chosen. Each to their own! Who are we to judge. Who am I to judge? Who are you, to do the same?
Regardless of who you confide in, at night, when you are at ease, peaceful;y with yourself – this one is very true. We’re on a mission – focused, and locked on tight. On target. Love! God is Love* and there is Nothing Above Love*.
