TD Jakes may have erred but who are we to judge? Imagine God put a microscope into your life, and blasted it on social media, for your boss, colleagues and friends or families and the whole world to see. How would you fair on accountability?
I became irritated with a mild fit of an irritation when a bunch of YouTubers started to judge clergymen, musicians & ministers based on their appearance and orientation around their fitness to minister in a choir and sorts. Here is my response:
It is important to recognise and respect the diversity of individuals and their experiences. Sexual orientation is not determined by appearance, and it is not appropriate to make assumptions about someone’s orientation based on their appearance.
Music, like any form of art, is created by individuals from various backgrounds and identities. The focus of worship should be on the spiritual and emotional connection it fosters, rather than the personal characteristics of the creators.
Your ignorance has me perplexed and I would hope you would plead for mercy and grace on your knees tonight when you pray, if you do pray, as you come across as someone who has forgotten that the bible says there is no one on earth who is without sin.
Self righteousness is a delusional disease. Worry about your own sins ❤. We were all born into sin. You have no monopoly on grace or redemption save God almighty !!!
The fact you think you can cherry pick scriptures on judgment to suite your ignorance and ego is indicative of the fact that you are just a sinner like Bishop TD. Jakes and the 8 billion people in the world.
There is a greater underlying problem here missed. Why are these great talents being compromised with rituals and coerced into fraternities or insidious cults? Maybe it’s time to fix the problem and not blame the symptoms. If folks opted in that’s different. However, to be deceived in, is evil.
I am concerned about the potential exploitation or coercion of talented individuals. It is important to address any underlying issues that may contribute to such situations. If there are instances where individuals are being coerced or manipulated into harmful practices, we should focus on fixing the problem rather than blaming the symptoms.
Raising awareness about these issues is crucial. We need to educate others about the potential dangers and encourage open discussions about coercion, manipulation, and harmful practices. By shedding light on these issues, we can work towards creating a safe and supportive environment for all individuals.
It is also important to provide support and resources for those who may have been affected by such situations. Offering assistance, counseling, and guidance can help individuals navigate through difficult circumstances and find a way to reclaim their autonomy and well-being.
