A Nigerian Yoruba woman was caught smuggling a newly born baby covered in a rucksack and plastic bags.

She tried to get away before the locals mobbed her and rescued the baby alive from her.

She had entered a public facility owned by a local business woman, for bathing & rest rooms.

She entered pregnant, and went through audible loud labour pains, gave birth and came out with the placenter still in her, having the baby wrapped up for disposal, according to the owner of the facility.

She was asked by the owner of the premises where the baby was and what had happened to the baby, she replied the baby was dead.

She now mistakenly hit the plastic bag containing the newborn against a chair – then the baby screamed, and cried out loudly. She then told them she was the one who gave birth to the baby when she was accused of stealing the baby.

Stories similar have surfaced, that mothers murder their new borns if they are unable to care for their new born babies. Some had been raped, or worked as prostitutes or divorced.They do this out of humiliation or poverty.
