Only God vouches and validates true repentance. It means nothing to me – your repentance. It’s for God to critique how you live your life before him.
Mine is not between, you and I, either. It’s between me and God! Neither is anyone’s repentance, for you to approve or disapprove. You are not God. What you need to do, is sweep around your own front door, before you sweep around mine.
Anybody can play the holy, holy card, in front of religious people, and be twice as evil, behind closed doors. I’ve seen it as an artiste, and as a music publicist, to circular, and gospel artistes. Nothing shocks me, anymore.
In fact, gospel artistes are worse than pop stars. They have a lot more to loose. Pop stars walk in their truths, unlike some gospel artistes. We can talk of corrupt clergy’s and ministers all day who change their wives like underwear, or choir masters and their devious antics. Each to their own. Worry about your own sin.
Seen it all !!!! Point is, only ‘God knows’, those who truly love him, or serve him! I always say, when I see it, I will believe it ..’
I thought I would hit on this topic, lightly today as this notion has been circling round my ear as a witch hunt. Time to time, I repeat on God’s love. If it were not for his love, and many un meritable graces, no one measures up, according to his laws and standards, by far
Isaiah 64:6 broke it down to a ‘T’.
All of us have become like one who is unclean,
and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags;
we all shrivel up like a leaf,
and like the wind our sins sweep us away.
That’s why he laid it down expressively in
John 3:16-17. For God So Loved the World
16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him ..”
There are no other conditions. There is no exclusivity to Gods love. God gave the ‘World’ – his only son as a sacrifice for sin. It did not say just the 12 tribes of Israel, or the Arab Emirates or the Chinese Mafia. He said the world ..’
There’s no condemnation in Gods love given through Jesus who has shed his blood for all of humanity – if, and when, you believe !!! Even then, his graces and mercies are brand new every morning.
Let me just tell them, about a saviour I know. He is ‘Jesus Christ’, the saviour of the world. Emmanuel – ‘God With Us’. Amen.
So, my message is to the whole wide world. If God could give it to whores, like ‘Rahab’, the Nan of Jesus, and ‘Mary Magdalene’, his best friend, bring me all the outcasts, and rejected, misfits. Let’s talk about Jesus and the God of Love – because the Holy Texts, says;
“But many who [now] are first will be last [then], and many who [now] are last will be first [then]”.
