James 3:17-18 is playing like a record in my mind – and is going to haunt me for a while no doubt.
James 3:17-18
“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace”.
This scripture is challenging and exposes everyone. I put my hands up and fess up ..’ And, I’m a believer. I was reading online yesterday – a bus driver, rebuking an 11 year old girl, saying she is going to hell, because she said she is gay.
This was my first response :: “Seriously ..’ Funny thou – I think the same doctrine disapproves of the the driver – ‘You without sin cast the first stone’ – Mercyfulgrace – Did the same bible not say ‘Thou shall not judge so ye may not be judged’ and did the same bible not say ‘All your righteousness are like filthy rags before me’ – Seriously ..’ So called xtains, make me laugh. Now, who is more likely to burn in hell ..’ I’m just saying! She is only 11 – what does she know?” Sweep around your own doors first – before you run for the broom to sweep around other folks business ..’ ::
Then, this morning, I read this scripture – above – James 3:17-18. This is playing like a record in my mind – and is going to haunt me for a while no doubt.
Search yourself and ask yourself why, in all truth and honesty – why this does not challenge, or expose you. I speak to all those who judge everyone else – but self.
I read this and feel like a fraud, in all my proclamation of knowing God. How can I be this perfect, to be accounted, and worthy before the Lord Almighty – I believe in.
But then I realized – it’s not by work of righteousness, but by my spirit, says the Lord (word of God /Love).
He gave me (us) exceeding Mercyfulgrace :: Not just for the righteous but for the unrighteous, too – that they may receive this grace – peradventure, one day!
Did it ever stop to amaze you why it rains or shines or snows on both the good and bad. If I was God, I know what I would do. But that’s why I (we) are not God – and its not for us to judge A.N.Y.B.O.D.Y – only, God can Judge ..’
Prayer is the key ..’ Love, light, harmony, peace and kindness.. Shine Shine Shine ..’ May I remind you, not all those who call me Lord’ Lord’ Lord’ – will inherit the kingdom of God – say’s, the big boss ..’. Create me a clean heart like David – Oh MercyfulGrace.
You see ..’ The ones who point the fingers the most, are the guiltiest, of them, all.
That’s my one penny advice – this day ..’ Have a wonderful and beautiful day ..’
