Tyrese: Child Custody & Hand Signs

Clarity for my brother #Tyrese. We need to #pray to break the #bondage on our #people.

The #illusion of #fame and #wealth is concerning. Throwing a suggestive hand sign for the press yet claiming to believe in the most high. It’s not a #judgment but an #observation.

The lift does not go up for me anymore with these narratives. You either worship #God or the #devil Not both. It’s impossible.

You can’t serve #two #masters. You will love one more than the other. I hope that hand sign means love and not the devil.

Happy for him that he can see his daughter again thou. I wish him nothing but love – ..’ #In14Ways

Teju Chosen in 14 Ways

1. How are you today

MercyfulGrace, I’m blessed. I’m not letting the snow get to me. How are you?

2. What is the book about

HOW TO GET PAID MORE THAN YOUR BOSS – 7 SIMPLE STEPS TO ACQUIRING THAT FIRST-CLASS DREAM JOB Is about moving from the pause to the play button with regards to your career dreams. As well as being filled with golden nuggets, my career success story and riveting money facts, it contains my 7 Step F.A.S.T.E.S.T Dream Job Catcher System and W.R.A.P Interview Success System.

3. How long did it take to write and concieve

Well, the idea to write the book came to me around May last year (2017) when I was thinking about my true purpose and how I was not making much of a difference, working as a highly paid expert in the corporate world, helping organisations with large amounts of money make more money. I discovered that I was most interested in and satisfied by the corporate responsibility work which included me facilitating in Interview Workshops for the homeless. It took about two months to conjure up a structure that I was happy with and once I knew what direction I was going in, the rest of the book took about five months after that.

4. Do you have role model authors

Yes. Several, all role models for different reasons and in different ways … including Maya Angelou, Kwame Dawes, my Pastor, Matthew Ashimolowo, Dr Mike Murdock Robert Kiyosaki, Joyce Meyer, Mo Obadina, Vishal Morjaria, John Lees. The best poetry book that I have ever read was written by New York, Poet Chris Slaughter. This is the epitome of straight up poetry from the depths of the heart; keeping it real before ‘keeping real’ was a thing. I started this in 2000 and have still not finished because I don’t want to get to the point where there are no more poems left to discover from this great piece of art and literature.

5. What convicted you to write your book

The aversion to seeing people in pain. A lot of people in the workplace are hurting in one way or the other. This could be because they are spending too much time at work and their personal relationships are suffering or they are being paid too little to make ends meet at the end of the month. Or even perhaps, some know that they were supposed to be serving the world more, for example doing charitable works but cannot because they do not have the means. As mentioned earlier the book encompasses my story and in 2000, that’s what I did. I left one big financial institution and within two weeks was head hunted for another and tripled my income. So not only did I end up earning more than my boss, I also got paid more than his boss, who happened to be his brother by the way.

6. What’s your stance on organised religion versus spirituality

MercyfulGrace, I’m not here to talk about religion, I’m sure this interview was supposed to be about my book. <<she laughs>>

Basically, for me myself as a Christian, my faith is about having a relationship with Christ, not about religion. I believe that there is only one God and I believe in the Trinity; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. I believe God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh. That is my belief. What other people believe is very much to do with their stage in life and first-hand experiences I guess.

7. If you were God for a day what would you do

I am not, so I can’t answer that. The Bible says that we were made in the image of God.

8. Have you any major dreams

Yes. To cause a paradigm shift in as many minds as possible. I want to change people’s mindsets so that they can see that they do not need to live a mediocre life and that it is possible to even achieve their wildest dreams with simple, strategic planning.

9. Do you believe in the after life

Yes most definitely. I believe that we are all spiritual beings on a physical plain for a relatively short and finite time. I believe in the rapture. That is Jesus Christ coming back a second time for the saints.

10. Your ideal get away

Hot beach anywhere. … Or a cruise.

11. Your favourite song to chill out to and jive to

Do you mean Chill and Jive at the same time? No of course you can’t. No of course you can’t.

To chill to, amongst songs great soulful gospel artists and John Legend, I like Lukas Graham’s 7 Years – it has a great melody and the words are very inspirational … favourite line, “I only see my goals, I don’t believe in failure” … I always say, “Me too!” after that.after that.

Jive <<she laughs>> I don’t Jive, You mean shake two leg or shock out? I love afrobeats, I love clean hip hop and up-tempo Gospel. I love Spiritual Pieces Gospel Group, lots of gems on their albums to chill to and also dance to. … But if you started to play the 1988 hit “It takes Two”, I don’t think I would be able to stay in my seat.

12. Who would be your ideal reader

People that want to instigate the change that they have always wanted in their life and make more money

People that are being oppressed in the workplace

People that believe they cannot advance

People who are transitional entrepreneurs and need just one more job before breaking free

Intrapreneurs – entrepreneurs working for other people or organisations

13. How would you like to remembered

As the person who pushed you to strive for more and be more

14. Say a prayer for humanity

A prayer for humanity. … Said it!

Father in the name of Jesus, I ask you to intervene in each and everybody’s lives this evening, heal those who are sick, comfort the broken hearted, send down your supernatural provision for everyone who lacks. Put an end to the struggles of the homeless and jobless and help them to acquire resources, divine help and divine direction. Amen! Amen!

Hackney Council announces innovative partnership approach to further develop social enterprise sector in the Borough

Hackney Social Enterprise

Hackney Social Enterprise ..’ – ‘Photo Credit – Gary Manhine’

“Hackney has a proud history of social enterprise – HCT was founded here back in 1982 – but with this new partnership, it could be a real opportunity to take social enterprise in the borough to the next level.” – Frank Villeneuve-Smith, Communications Director, HCT Group
On Wednesday 21st February, representatives from Hackney’s social enterprise sector were invited to meet Philip Glanville, the Mayor in Hackney Town Hall to present the results of a consultation to create a Social Enterprise Manifesto for Hackney.
IMG_20170913_222758_357.jpg
Consultation on the Hackney Social Enterprise Manifesto, led by Hackney Co-operative Developments CIC on behalf of Hackney’s Social Enterprise Partnership (Hackney Co-operative Developments CIC, Bootstrap, Company, Hackney CVS, Hackney Roots, Hackney Council, Shoreditch Trust, UBS, UnLtd and Urban MBA), has gathered ideas from over 250 social enterprises for how Hackney Council, with support from the sector can work together to further recognise the existing role social enterprise plays in the borough and to support the development of social entrepreneurship and social ownership going forward.

The Consultation Results highlight three strategic aims for the sector locally: to promote awareness & understanding of social enterprise, build capacity and reach within the social enterprise sector and to provide a platform of resources and support for social enterprises. Suggestions for Hackney Council include innovative approaches to areas such as planning, procurement and communications.
MercyfulGrace Diaries - No Scars - #NAZ
“This is an exciting day for the social enterprise movement in Hackney with Hackney Council really demonstrating their understanding of how much the social enterprise sector can contribute to the social, environmental and economic wellbeing of the Borough. We are grateful to all the social enterprises who contributed to the consultation and are pleased to be working with the Hackney Social Enterprise Partnership to push this agenda forward.” Edward Quigley, CEO, Hackney Co-operative Developments CIC
See video from Social Enterprise in the City event 2017 celebrating Hackney winning Borough status:

The Mayor, Philip Glanville, who has supported the consultation since it was launched at the Social Enterprise in the City conference at Hackney House in November 2017, has welcomed the suggestions and the efforts of the sector in undertaking this piece of work. Today, senior officers from the Council have announced their plan to work collaboratively as part of Hackney’s Social Enterprise Partnership to run a series of workshops to use the ideas generated from the consultation to create a realistic and actionable action plan that the Council and social enterprise sector can co-publish later this year.

“I’m very pleased to see the results of this manifesto consultation with the social enterprise sector and the significant steps taken to get here today. In light of recent budget announcements, it is more important than ever that every penny spent by the council achieves maximum social value for residents. By supporting the growth of this sector we hope to use more of their passion, innovation, and expertise, to see more jobs for local people and the development of a more caring society. Through our role in Hackney’s Social Enterprise Partnership, Hackney Council commits to work with the sector to ensure the best of social enterprise thinking is embedded throughout council policy and the everyday life of the borough.” Philip Glanville, Mayor of Hackney
20170927_015849.jpg
This level of in-depth partnership work puts Hackney at the forefront of innovative local social enterprise development and follows best practice guidance from Social Enterprise UK who awarded London Borough of Hackney recognition as an official Social Enterprise Borough in 2017.
“Hackney has always been a tremendously creative place, ahead of the curve in so many ways and it’s no surprise to see such a strong and vibrant social enterprise movement in the Borough. This dynamic social enterprise landscape is making a real difference to people’s lives in many ways including helping people get into jobs and providing health and wellbeing services. The Council’s support for the sector has resulted in the Borough being accredited as an official Social Enterprise Place.
Love - MercyfulGrace Blog

Embracing social enterprises is crucial if we’re to build genuinely inclusive communities – they are creating jobs where they are needed most and leading the way when it comes to pay, diversity and innovation. They represent the future of business and it’s great to see the Council working hand in hand with locally-based social enterprises in what I am sure will be strong and enduring partnership.” James Butler, Public Affairs Manager, Social Enterprise UK

“I am both excited and thrilled to see the progress that has been made to date” says Nick Wright, Head of Community Affairs EMEA at UBS, who supports social enterprise through its Community Affairs programme, “and how by working collaboratively across the sector significant strides are being taken to further develop social enterprises in the Borough of Hackney, enabling them to address societal challenges more broadly.”

Abe Cruz In 14 Ways with Forever Faith

Abe Cruz7 - MercyfulGrace Blog

Abe Cruz: ‘Forever Faith’ – In 14 Ways – http://MercyfulGrace.Blog

Abraham J. Cruz what a pleasure to meet with you in #In14Ways at last. Thank you for giving us this opportunity to get closer to know more about you. We thought this interview would never happen. You are such a busy successful inspiring entrepreneur. If you are not dripped in chocolate (Jay Leno) for your adoring fans, you are dripped in words of inspiration all over your (Forever Faith) brands ..’ So lets get started already in In14Ways ..’

1. How are you today?

I’m Blessed and Great every day, because there is no other option when you see light, and breath air. Amen!!

2. What was life like on millionaire matchmaker when we first saw you

Life at that point was unreal, and unbelievable, because about a year before that I was in prison, and I was told that. I wasn’t going to be able to accomplish anything, or be productive in life. I was in prison being told when to eat and when to sleep.

3. Has Patti changed your life for good with the one in the aftermath

Patti did a great job on working with me, but unfortunately it didn’t work out with the girl I met on the show. She was beautiful, and I hope she is doing well.

Abe Cruz8 - MercyfulGrace Blog.jpg

4. How has prison affected your focus

It was the biggest blessing of my life, because nothing I have today (physically, spiritually, financially, or mentally) would have come about without hitting rock bottom and going to prison. I was forced to lay on my back, so all I could see was up.

5. Advise for young entrepreneurs

To truly follow their heart and soul, and ask God for direction. Truly believe in God first, and believe in yourself second, and with that combination you can’t lose.

6. Your advise for anyone living a life of crime

Yikes..!! Hurry up and figure out your exit strategy, because I don’t think anybody decides they want to go into a life of crime. Speaking for myself I grew up poor, and wanted a better life for me and my family. And ultimately I know I made the wrong decision, but it was the quickest financial solution to all my financial problems. I would never advise to do it. Remember this… Fast Cash Fast Crash..!!

Abe Cruz3

Abe Cruz on set @ Fuerza Tulsa Television

7. How has faith captured your imagination.

I fully believe in myself. I feel that I will be one of the most powerful men in the world some day, for many different reasons.

8. How have you managed to resolve diversity in America being Latino

I understand at time we are dealing with some racial tension, but I personally do not allow racism, or race, to influence or impact my daily life. I don’t have an ounce of hate in my body, except for idiots. And idiots come in all shapes, sizes, and races. Life overall is about loving, accepting, and encouraging each other.

(MercyfulGrace: Laugh – Laugh – Laugh – Love it !!! Genius. Thank you ..’)

9. Do you believe in after life

Wooh… That’s a good question. The majority of people out there would want me to give a definitive answer, because that’s what is expected in society. But me speaking truthfully, never even gave it a thought. My focus is becoming a better person every day, and doing everything I can to help this world in every way I can.

10. Where is home for you

I travel so much. Not sure where home really is…

11. Your ideal get away.

Heading to the beach. Quiet beach. Massage and relaxation all day long… and having sushi. I’m more on the simple side.

12. Who inspires you most

Faith is number one. There’s been a couple of people that triggered some inspiration as well while I was in prison. P.Diddy (Sean John), Jay Cutler (4 time Mr. Olympia), and Jim Rohn (Philosopher).

13. Your greatest legacy will be

That I cared about people. That I lifted up people when they were down.

Abe Cruz - MercyfulGrace Blog

14. Say a prayer for humanity.

Dear Father God, I come to you for the good and the bad, and today’s specific prayer is to bring humanity together. We are going through some tough, confusing times. Us humans don’t have the answers. So I turn to you, and ask You for direction. I ask you Father God to guide us, because we will only see improvement if we put all our faith in You Father God. I pray this to you Father God in the name of your son Jesus Christ. Amen

End of Interview

Thank you so much for the interview. You are truly a star and a consummate professional. I’ve picked up a few notes here personally. Goes to show. The best things in life are free and what will be will be. Patience is a real glorious virtue. Furthermore, like to add and end on this note: may God bless you real good. Amen !!!
